As years pass, supermodels come and go. However, few are as influential and as iconic as model Bella Hadid. In August 2023, Hadid’s return to modeling was announced via a TikTok video, with a caption announcing she was “finally healthy” after a yearlong hiatus during which she underwent extensive treatment for Lyme disease.

The model covered Perfect’s Issue Six for Spring 2024 and was very involved in the project, art-directing the photoshoot, which took place at the end of 2023. One of the images from the shoot sees Hadid holding a massive print by artist Corbin Shaw that reads, “Absolutely nothing. Nothing at all,” inspired by a photo of Blondie vocalist Debbie Harry from 1978. Hadid was styled by Katie Grand, editor-in-chief of Perfect and a long-time collaborator.

As of today, Bella Hadid’s net worth is estimated to be $25 million. Despite her hiatus, Hadid remains one of the richest working models in the world, helping raise various brands’ profits and impact through many projects.

Bella Hadid as a style icon

Over the years, Bella Hadid has led the frontlines of Hollywood fashion, proving herself a chic trendsetter time and time again.

For example, when fellow model Gisele Bundchen‘s short appearance in the iconic 2000s film The Devil Wears Prada was revealed, her cameo made the Bayonetta glasses a hot fashion must-have. Years later, the trend would resurface among Gen Zs and Hollywood youths.

However, Bella Hadid was among the first to bring the Bayonetta back as part of her office siren trend. She was one of the first to be seen wearing the geek chic eyewear trend, seen wearing Versace glasses — specifically the VE1175B model — which sees a modified, glam-ed up take on the Bayonetta wrapped in gold frames. Versace has also zeroed in on the trend’s unique lens shape, offering similar models like the VE1184 in simpler black frames.

More recently, Hadid has spearheaded another fashion trend — with her own twist. The model has been seen in stylish Texan fashion, wearing braids and cowboy hats while taking the fashion immersion a step further by posing on tractors and with horses. Hadid herself has been an equestrian since childhood and lived on a Beverly Hills horse ranch for a decade, so we can see where the fashion influence may have stemmed from.

Bella Hadid’s personal life

As a fashion model constantly in the limelight and posting to her millions of social media followers and fans, Hadid’s personal life isn’t as private as she may prefer.

In line with her recent cowboy shift fashion-wise, Hadid recently went official with Mexican-American cowboy boyfriend Adan Banuelos. Banuelos is also the first Mexican-American to be inducted into the National Cutting Horse Association Hall of Fame. The pair has been spotted posting pictures of each other and together on Instagram, confirming their previously rumored relationship.

Aside from her love life, Hadid’s personal life was also made public when she opened up about her battle with Lyme disease in 2013. Her mom, Yolanda, and younger brother, Anwar, had also been diagnosed with the same condition.

Bella Hadid’s philanthropy

Finally, Hadid is just as active in her social work as she is on social media. She has avidly spoken against animal abuse and about natural disasters.

The supermodel also volunteered at Food Bank for New York City during Christmas in 2021. The nonprofit organization provides food to New Yorkers in need throughout the five boroughs. In a series of Instagram photos, Hadid is pictured giving out groceries and toys at the Yankee Stadium in New York.
