Tom Sandoval was born in St. Louis, Missouri on July 7, 1983 to father Anthony Sandoval and mother Terri Green. He has one sibling, a brother named Brian Sandoval. Sandoval began his career as a model, having a notable appearance as a shirtless model at a casting call in MTV’s The Hills.
Sandoval then transitioned to acting, appearing in the 2008 film Playing With Fire. He followed that up with appearances in the 2010 film Puppet Master: Axis of Evil, the 2011 film Behind Your Eyes, and the 2012 film 23 Minutes to Sunrise. Other short film, movie and TV appearances include Scare Us, The Wrong Real Estate Agent, Dying for a Baby, The Other Two, and Alien Presence.
In 2013, Sandoval appeared in the premiere episode of Vanderpump Rules as a bartender at a restaurant in West Hollywood, California called SUR, which is owned by Lisa Vanderpump, a star of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The show followed the lives of six Los Angeles waiters and waitresses working at Lisa Vanderpump’s businesses. Sandoval and co-stars Scheana Shay and Katie Maloney are the only three that have been full-time cast members since the show premiered.
Sandoval and his best friend and co-star Tom Schwartz opened a restaurant called TomTom Bar in West Hollywood in August 2018 under the guide of Lisa Vanderpump. In November 2022, the duo opened another bar, Schwartz & Sandy’s, in Los Angeles’ Franklin Village neighborhood. They have also launched their own whiskey label called Toms’ Good Lovin’.
In addition to his business endeavors, Sandoval is the lead singer in a band called Tom Sandoval and The Most Extras and plays guitar in a band called Pierce the Arrow.
